If i Was Stephanie Meyers...

i'd be furious. Either my hopes were too high or Twilight, the movie, was really just that pathetic. I'm very upset. I spent hours bawling and delving into the character's souls while reading the book...and then i spent 2 hours of my life laughing hysterically while trying to find romance within the movie. What were those producers thinking?! I want my money back.

We walked out laughing! That was the most poorly directed, written, acted EVERYTHING. It was BAD. Whoever wrote the screenplay was bad. It was soooo jumpy and choppy. What a disapointment... I agree!

Oh Man, that's not what I wanted you to say about it....I was hopeing it was INCREDIBLE....now when I go see it tonight I'll go in with really low expectations! You would think with all the talent out there they could make "this" movie really good...come on now!!!

Oh NO! Okay I'm totally bummed to hear that. Was it really that bad? Maybe I'll wait to go and see it. Sorry for the disappointment!

PS- Where have you been these last few weeks? I haven't seen you or your cute little Tinkerbell at church!

You know, I was worried that it wasn't going to be very good the second I saw the first trailer and who they cast for the characters. I started to get more and more excited about the movie though, because I would just think about how I felt while I was reading the book. Now we'll just have to go with very low expectations. Bummer! Harry Potter should have come out today instead.

hmmm -- Honestly - Richard I were discussing this last night. While it could never be everything I hoped and dreamed it would be... ha! (and I would have picked a few different people to play the characters...) I think they just needed to develope the characters more... all of them! They could have taken more time... a longer movie would have been okay with me. ;)

Really? I thought it was good. The book was way cheesy too...I thought it matched it just fine. My sister in law didn't like it either and I don't get it! I do agree with your friend Amber that they could have gone into the characters more, but I am sure more of that will come with the next movie. Hope you're doing well!

I am so glad that I didn't go see it. I thought that the guy they cast for Edward wasn't attractive and so I didn't want to see it. I am sorry that you wasted two hours of your life that you will never get back. Love Ya!

I actually REALLY enjoyed the movie. It took me a long time to get past the fact that Robert Pattinson isn't particularly hot, but he is a terrific actor and eventually he won me over.

In fact, we went and saw it again this morning. . . I had low expectations but it totally surpassed them all.

Okay, I totally agree with you! I didn't like it at all, I thought it was cheesy and confusing and so disappointing! I'm glad I wasn't the only one that didn't like it!
